Peace & Presence: Trauma Informed Yoga with Renk Koctruk
Peace & Presence is a mindfulness series of diverse holistic wellness workshops for student survivors and co-survivors of sexual trauma. These sessions will explore non-verbal and experiential healing techniques, self-calming tools, and guide participants in incorporating mindfulness into your daily lives.

In this Trauma-Informed Gentle Yoga class participants will be guided through breath, gentle stretches, and different yoga positions to tap deeper into the parasympathetic system. Creating space to stay in the present moment while moving into a state of rest and restore.

By incorporating mindfulness, and yoga through a trauma informed lens, participants will learn tools to support the body in choice making, embodiment, and trauma release. The language of this yoga class will be different from a normal studio class as the instructor will only be using invitational language.

The class is open to all levels of movement.
