DESCRIPTION: Climate change is a health crisis escalating negative impacts on the lives and health of global communities, widening health disparities, increasing poverty, and threatening healthcare delivery. Contributing the least to this cause, the African Region bears the greatest burden of suffering. This course will equip African health professionals with the skills to identify, communicate, respond to, and prepare for climate-related health impacts. Through expert-led lectures and case studies, it delivers comprehensive information on climate science and health impacts, adaptation strategies, and health system resilience. Video recordings will be available following each session for asynchronous viewing. We hope you join us!
